The table tennis team match of 2017 “Henan University Cup”which lasted 6 days ended on Nov. 10th. During this competition, our college send a representative team which is consisted of 5 boys and 4 girls took part in this match. With the disadvantage of lacking back-up players and having many new players, all players tired their best in this match. Finally, they won the second place in men’s team and the third place in women’s team. Our college is the only one that both men’s and women’s team got prize in this match.

This match was divided into three stages : preliminary round, semifinal and final. In the preliminary round, women’s table tennis team of our college got prominent achievement with a sweeping victory. The men's table tennis team broke through from lots of strong teams and entered the top eight. At last both the men’s team and women’s team defeated the team of Environment and Planning College and entered the top four.

In the semi-final, the women’s team of our college which overcame many difficulties. After 5 rounds against the team of Pharmacy College, our women’s team won the third place in this match. The men's team met  a powerful team of Software College which did not fail before the semi-final. The players fought hard and finally won the final match with the score of 3:1. In the final, the men's team contested with the team of Minsheng College for 5 rounds, which showed their good mentality and high morale. Finally, they won the second place because of a small score gap with the team of Minsheng College.
