In response to the requirements of Miami Institute for rich extracurricular activities, students of environmental science majors made a collective decision that is on December 14, 2016, they held a class activity named "dumpling feast in winter to pass on the warmth in cold days” in the first floor hall of Miami Institute.

The goal is to connect with students, learn from each other, learn skills from activities, experience fun, work together, and increase feelings.At five o 'clock in the afternoon, 27 students of the class met with each other.

Liu Jiahua, the class league secretary, Cui Zihao, the chief of the grade, prepared the dumpling wrappers, dumpling fillings and hot pot ingredients in advance. Students  are very motivated, and they can't wait to try it.

Many students are making dumplings for the first time, and everyone is sitting around the table and learning from others carefully. Among them, students are more imaginative, inventing "hamburger", "small steamed buns" and other "exotic dumplings".

Shortly afterwards, the first pot of dumplings and hot pot are ready, everyone can't wait to taste their results, fortunately, although most students are making dumplings for the first time, but not many cooked betrayed. The students eat their own fruits, feeling special!

The dumpling feast is drawing to a close, but the students are not enough to play the fun game, the punishment rule is to eat dumplings. In the end, no one was left without a full stomach to get out of the activity room. The whole activity room was laughing, and the air was filled with the pleasure of New Year's Day. On the occasion of the New Year, everyone experienced the feeling of making dumplings and having a happy and meaningful New Year's Eve.
