In order to deeply study and implement the spirit of 19th CPC National Congress meeting of the Party and carry out the work of undergraduate teaching audit and evaluation in our university, Miami College held the gathering meeting of studying the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress meeting of the Party and the Mobilization of undergraduate Teaching Review and Evaluation on the afternoon of November 23. The college leadership and all faculty attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Wang Chuangfeng, deputy secretary of the CPC Central Committee.

At the study meeting, Wang Chuangfeng, deputy secretary of the CPC Central Committee, led everyone to study the report on the spiritual guidance for the study meeting of 19th CPC National Congress by Professor Xin Shijun of Zhengzhou University, a member of the propaganda delegation of the provincial party committee. The important contents of Xi Jinping's socialist thought with Chinese characteristics in the new era, the changes of the main contradictions in our society, the major strategic plan of our country's economic and social development, and the comprehensive and strict administration of the Party are discussed in depth. Wang Chuangfeng stressed: to study and implement the spirit of 19th CPC National Congress's meeting, first, we must persist in arming our minds with 19th CPC National Congress's socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era, guiding practice, strengthening "four self-confidence", and strengthening our ideals and beliefs; second, we should persist in integrating theory with practice, apply what we have learned, work hard, and promote actual results in our work; third, we should strengthen our responsibilities, improve our style of work, and do a good job in all aspects of the construction of our college with new responsibilities.

Zhao Xinshun, secretary of the CPC Central Committee, mobilized the college's undergraduate teaching audit and evaluation work. First of all, he introduced the background, nature and main contents of the undergraduate teaching review and evaluation, and emphasized that the evaluation is of great significance to the construction and development of the college. He noted that the review, the first since the school entered a "double top" university, was both an opportunity and a challenge for Miami College. The Miami College should take this audit and evaluation as an opportunity to comprehensively examine the work of the institute in the past two years, find out the problems and gaps, and put forward some improvement measures, so as to lay a good foundation for accepting the Sino-foreign cooperative education evaluation of the Ministry of Education after a cycle of running a school. He stressed that the college should adhere to the principle of "promoting construction by evaluation, promoting reform by evaluation, promoting management by evaluation, combining evaluation with construction, and focusing on construction" and doing a good job in the examination and evaluation of undergraduate teaching. In accordance with the standards of undergraduate teaching quality and ABET certification of the University of Miami, the college should strengthen the construction of teachers, optimize student training programs, and standardize the process of education and teaching. We will comprehensively improve the quality of undergraduate education and enhance the effectiveness of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools.
