On the morning of December 12th, 5 visitors from Tropical Agriculture and Forestry College of Hainan University including Prof. Zhu Guopeng came to our college for a visit and investigation. Of our college, Secretary of CPC General Branch and Dean Zhao Xinshun, Deputy Secretary of CPC General Branch Wang Chuangfeng, Director of Administrative Foreign Affairs Wang Xiaowei and Director of International Cooperation Project Li Qi received them and they held working talks at Meeting Room 202.

Dean Zhao Xinshun gave a warm welcome to the guests from Hainan University and had a detailed production and explanation of the major content made by Dean Zhu Guopeng and others.He first gave a brief introduction to the history and internationalization development of Henan University, and shared with the guests the experience of Sino-foreign cooperation in running a school at Henan University. Combined with the practical problems encountered in the implementation of Regulations on Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools, he also discusses his own work experience. Then, taking Miami College as an example, he introduced new concepts and new ideas of Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run schools as well as our college’s future development plan. Director Wang Chuangfeng had an in-depth exchange of views with our guests on student management in cooperative school running. Director Wang Xiaowei made a explanation to them on the talent training mode and training scheme of the college.

Prof. Zhu Guopeng gave a brief introduction of the development history and school-running characteristics of Hainan University. He also invited leaders of our college to watch the official propaganda video of Tropical Agriculture and Forestry College of Hainan University. Professor GE Chengjun, Dean of the School of Resources and Environment, Tropical Agriculture and Forestry College, Hainan University, and accompanied by Zhu Guopeng, introduced the successful experience of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools at the Institute of International Tourism of Hainan University and the curriculum plan with regional characteristics.

The two sides also exchanged views on the training plan, curriculum system, internal management, personnel training, etc. Finally, Prof. Zhu cordially invited our leaders to visit Hainan University.
