In response to the important requirements of General Secretary Xi Jinping's firm ideals and convictions for the majority of young people, which consist of training hard skills, innovating in creation, struggling to work hard and tempering noble character, our institute held this activity that took into consideration of the beliefs and the ability as well as capacity and accomplishment, with the theme of “Hello, China! Hello, World!” And this activity is part of the activities of the Institute.

Strengthen the education and guidance work for the members, keep up the main theme of the era within the class and create a positive atmosphere.

(1) Activity process:
1. League branch secretary prepared the material that the activity needed and informed league members to participate in on time.
2. Guide participants to understand relevant knowledge of the Army Day.
1) Play movie clips of Mekong Operations and show the important role played by the People's Liberation Army in today's society. Raise everyone's enthusiasm to this league branch activity of commemorating the 90th anniversary of the founding of the army with the theme of "The Most Lovely People".
2) Play the power point of commemorating the 90th anniversary of the founding of the army.

3. Questions: Discuss what kind of new age connotation should be given to the “Bayi Spirit “and let it be the driving force for young people's struggle. The students are welcome to assign representatives to speak freely and express their opinions.
4. In terms of the main content of league branch activities, some essay questions were designed, and the students were welcome to actively answer the questions and small gifts were prepared as a reward.

(2) The characteristics and innovations of this activity
1. As a college for international cooperation in running schools, this activity not only responds to the call of the country, implements school work, but also combines the characteristics of the college. Offer our highest honor to “The Most Lovely People” of the motherland and guide people to pay attention to the touching stories and selfless spirit of the heroes who quietly dedicate themselves to the motherland.
2. Meaning
Loyal souls’ heartful wishes: "Were it to benefit my country, I would lay down my life; what then is risk to me?" In the past 90 years, although the wars have stopped and the war painting has not yet been exhausted, generation after generation of soldiers, as the most lovable people, has been guarding our side to ensure the safety of our homeland. Going over the great army building chapter of the Chinese army and exchanging the glorious history of the people's army is an indispensable lesson for every league member.
(4) Self-assessment of the activity
This activity responds to the call of the school, which is in line with the theme of the institute, and is well-organized, enthusiastic and far-reaching.
First, the organization was well-prepared and the division of labor was clear. The activity was initiated and presided over by the league branch secretary, and was assisted and accomplished by the monitor as well as class leadership members. During the process, the league branch gave full play to the spirit of “newborn calf”, and on the premise that there was no experience to learn from, with a warm enthusiasm, the branch learnt from “early birds” to consult with humility, prepare in advance and boldly innovate. Although problems such as time conflicts, site coordination, and equipment control were encountered in the preparation process, they still held the attitude of facing and solving problems bravely to successfully hold the activity.
Second, the activity had a high degree of participation and received great response. The entire civil engineering specialty branch participated in this activity. Before the event, everyone prepared to understand the People's Liberation Army and related knowledge of the "Bayi Spirit". Everyone participated in the activity during the process. They carefully watched the film, listened attentively during the speech and answered positively of questions. After the event, everyone learned. The situation is serious and as contemporary university students as well as the league members, we should stand straight, love our country and party, support the army, and learn professional knowledge, master professional skills to do our best for the motherland.
In the end, this activity has played a great educational role and is of far-reaching significance. On the occasion of external problems, there are many different rumors. After graduating from high school, there is not enough social experience and international perspective for the freshmen and it is easy for them to be bewitched and used to create chaos with their patriotism. This activity has the effect of clearing up heart and mind. It firms the beliefs in patriotism, loving the party, and supporting the army, in addition, it guides students to treat the international situation correctly, to love country rationally and to contribute to the modernization of the motherland.
It is precisely because of the unity among class committees and the mutual cooperation among classmates that makes this event a success in fulfilling its mission - watering the patriotic love of the Party in the hearts of the majority of league members and the seedlings of supporting the army and people. The viewing, questioning and discussion sections are also worth learning for later league branch activities.
