The diligent man is the first to come across spring and always forges ahead on the journey. On the occasion of the 108th International Working Women’s Day, our university held the female faculties’ brisk walking activity named “Embracing Spring • Fitness Unlimited” on the Jinming Campus on the afternoon of March 8th. This activity was sponsored by the Henan University Trade Union and undertaken by the Henan University Public Physical Education Department. There were 48 trade union delegations, more than 2,000 staff in the university taking part in this movement. Besides, the heads of each unit and the male staff representatives were also invited to join in the brisk walking. A total of 11 people participated in the event. A total of 11 people from our team took pare in this activity.

The route of this activity started from the north gate of Zhiyi stadium, extended along Zhongzhou avenue, and finally returned to the same place, which was about 3 kilometers. This activity was with numerous participants, wide participation scope and good effect. After the activity, everyone said that, through today’s activity, we felt redoubled warmth, confidence and hope. And in the New Year, we will keep the same step with the new times and build achievements on a new journey in order to make new contributions to the“Double-First Class” construction of our university.
